Thousand Oaks Resurfacing
10 days timeline, $18k-$32k budget range, 450 sq ft surface finished size.
The
transformation.
Challenge,
approach, result.
The Thousand Oaks pool had rough plaster, mottling, and a few tile failures, but the shell and equipment were worth keeping. The goal was a durable finish without turning the project into a full remodel.
We drained, inspected, chipped out failing areas, repaired tile spots, and applied a quartz finish selected for color consistency and durability. The startup plan mattered because fresh plaster can be damaged in the first few weeks if chemistry is ignored.
The resurfacing took 10 days from drain to refill. The pool now has a smoother surface, cleaner color, and a documented brush and chemistry schedule for the first month.
