Calabasas Vanishing Edge Pool
22 weeks timeline, $375k-$525k budget range, 18x40 ft finished size.
The
transformation.
Challenge,
approach, result.
This Calabasas hillside yard needed more engineering than the first sketch suggested. The view was the reason for the project, but the slope, access, and HOA review meant the structure had to be resolved before finishes.
We coordinated the vanishing edge wall, catch basin, spa hydraulics, and retaining conditions as one system. The HOA package included finish boards, equipment screening, and a construction access plan so the approval did not stall after engineering.
The build took 22 weeks because of hillside staging and inspections. The finished pool holds the view without making the yard feel heavy, and the spa, edge basin, and lighting all run from one automation system.
