Pacific Palisades Rectangle Pool

The
transformation.
Challenge,
approach, result.
The Pacific Palisades lot had a clean rear yard but limited side access, so excavation and haul-off had to be sequenced in smaller loads. LADBS review focused on the pool shell, equipment location, and drainage path because the property sat near a canyon edge.
We kept the design restrained: a modern rectangle, glass tile, quiet equipment placement, and a travertine deck that connected the house to the water without overbuilding the yard. The equipment pad was screened early so the visual plan and mechanical plan worked together.
The pool finished in 14 weeks after permit approval. The result is a calm, architectural pool that fits the Palisades setting — simple lines, good evening lighting, and equipment that does not dominate the yard.
